Brownie Layer Ingredients:

1 package Now Foods Organic Chocolate Fudge Brownie Mix

1 egg (can use 2 tbsp applesauce as a replacement)

2/3 cup hot water

½ cup organic canola or coconut oil

Pumpkin Cream Cheese Layer Ingredients:

8 oz. cream cheese, room temperature

1 egg (can use 2 tbsp applesauce as a replacement)

1/3 cup coconut sugar

1 tsp vanilla extract

¼ cup almond or coconut flour

½ cup canned pumpkin

1 tsp cinnamon

1 tsp pumpkin pie spice

Directions for Brownie Layer:

1. Preheat your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Spray or coat an 8x8 inch baking pan with cooking oil.

2. In a large bowl, combine 1 egg, 2/3 cup hot water, and ½ cup organic canola oil.

3. Add the Now Foods Brownie Mix and whisk until smooth.

Directions for Pumpkin Cream Cheese Layer:

5. In a large mixing bowl, whisk the softened cream cheese until smooth.

6. Add the rest of the ingredients and mix until combined.

 

7. Spread 2/3 of the brownie batter into the oiled baking pan.

8. Place the pumpkin batter over the brownie batter and spread until smooth.

9. Add the remaining brownie over the pumpkin batter in large spoonfuls.

10. Using a knife, swirl the brownie spoonfuls into the pumpkin batter.

11. Inset the baking pan into the oven and bake for 45-50 minutes or until the center is set. Let sit for 1-2 hours or until completely cooled.
