To celebrate National Cheese Pizza Day, we've compiled a list of our favorite gluten-free, non-dairy and allergy-friendly pizza fixings. Build your own pizza to suit your dietary needs without sacrificing any of the flavor or fun! (If you're not in the mood for making your own, stop by any of our stores for a selection of delicious, allergy-friendly frozen pizzas that are ready-to-bake for dinner tonight!)

First Things First: The Crust

Whether you opt for a mix or a ready-to-go crust, we have lots of allergy-friendly options. Many crusts and mixes are gluten-free, non-dairy, and even paleo-friendly. Our favorites are Against the Grain® 3-Cheese frozen crust (available in-store), Simple Mills® Almond Flour Pizza Dough Mix, and Chebe® Allergy-Friendly Pizza Crust Mix. Round Two: The Sauce

The sauce is where it's at! With ingredients like pure tomato puree, extra virgin olive oil, herbs, and spices, pizza sauce is adaptable to most diets. Cadia® or Muir Glen™ Organic Pizza Sauce provide a savory base for your pizza. Spread to your heart's content on your favorite crust!

Top it Off: Cheese

Non-dairy and vegan cheese substitutes make it easy for almost anyone to enjoy this classic pizza topping. Daiya® and GoVeggie® are both delicious, dairy-free and soy-free options available in mozzarella and cheddar flavors. If you're ok with dairy but prefer organic, then Rumiano® Organic Shredded Cheese is a wholesome option for your pizza.

Don't Stop There!

    Amazing article! Having a daughter with severe and multiple anaphylactic food allergies it's hard to find many things that are helpful or something that lets those aware of them. My daughter can't have wheat, milk (dairy products), eggs, fish, shellfish, meat, gelatin, soy, peanuts, tree-nuts, coconut, sunflower, sesame, pumpkin seeds, hemp, flax or chia seeds among other seeds. So most things are homemade for her and have to ensure anything is free from cross-contact for her.
