Apple juice is hydrating and rich in plant compounds like polyphenols. (One may also dilute it for a less sweet alternative.) Fresh ginger is full of gingerols, which support healthy inflammation and are antioxidants. It may also help with nausea. Meanwhile, fresh turmeric supports healthy inflammation. 2 organic apples

1/2 inch of fresh ginger

1 inch piece of fresh turmeric

a dash of Ceylon Cinnamon


1. Rough chop 2 full apples into quarters. Set out your juice glass or pitcher, and begin to juice apples on the medium-hard setting of your juicer.

2. Juice the fresh ginger and turmeric roots on the same setting as apples, or a little harder. 

3. Allow all juice to drain into your pitcher. When serving, whisk in a healthy dash of Ceylon cinnamon. That's where the nostalgic flavor comes from!
